- The Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement (KAIA) is the sole institution in Korea that
specializes in land, infrastructure, and transportation R&D. It conducts R&D planning, management, and
assessment; certifies construction and transportation technologies; and assesses the value of relevant
technologies. KAIA is always doing its best to improve the quality of people’s lives by interconnecting
technologies, human beings, and the society, and to help strengthen Korea’s competitiveness as a nation.
